This one’s a rebuild. I initially went with Ultraglides    • F1-8X 722 (Alu v4 Half) | Broken-in Cherry...   but the single-stage 55g springs felt a bit sluggish on the alphas. I didn’t have that issue with the full plate build so I realized that for plateless or half-plate, I’d need heavier and snappier springs. While at it, I swapped in a frankenswitch (MX Black housings with Unga Bunga stems) and I think it turned out great. It’s actually pretty loud in person and I really like the typing feel. I didn’t expect long poles to sound this good on a half plate/plateless build. The mods are still ultraglides (broken-in Cherry hyperglides) and I’m happy with how they are.
