I implemented network functionality using a Raspberry Pi Pico and CircuitPython. Starting with automatic IP address acquisition via DHCP, I also enabled HTTP web client functionality and GET/POST communication. Now, I can use the Raspberry Pi Pico as an IoT device.

*Regarding the Master/Slave designations in MOSI/MISO:
MOSI is generally considered an abbreviation for Master Out, Slave In, but these days the terms Master/Slave are increasingly considered undesirable from a human rights perspective.
For this reason, this video avoids the terms Master/Slave and instead uses the terms Microcontroller/Sensor in accordance with the definitions used by Adafruit (CircuitPython).
