I picked out some things that are easy to do and have high risks, but there are many other things, so if you are trying to get pregnant or breastfeeding, check the cosmetics you use on a daily basis and make a decision🌷

🌟It's not 100% certain that it will affect the fetus, but it's a beauty product that is known to have risks🌟

①Botox
It uses "botulinum toxin" which temporarily paralyzes the nerves, but it is not clear what effect this ingredient has on the fetus. There have been reports of effects on the fetus overseas, so it should be avoided not only during pregnancy, but also 3 months before trying to get pregnant and while breastfeeding.

②Tooth whitening (opalescence, etc.)
Whitening agents contain a strong ingredient called "hydrogen peroxide" that may damage the sensitive gums and mucous membranes during pregnancy. The effects on the fetus are also not clear, so avoid it.

③High concentration retinol
Retinol is a type of vitamin A. Even excessive intake or high concentration external use is said to pose a risk of causing developmental abnormalities in the fetus (especially the neural tube and heart). Some products are OK if they are low concentration, but be sure to check the product's warnings.

④ Peeling and beauty serums containing salicylic acid
Salicylic acid (BHA) is an ingredient used for pore care, but it is one of the ingredients that is of concern for its effects on the fetus if absorbed quickly. In particular, peeling and clinic treatments with high concentrations should be avoided.

⑤ Medical hair removal
Hypersensitivity reactions due to changes in hormone balance and rise in body temperature during treatment may affect the fetus.

⑥ Prescription acne medication
Topical bepio and adapalene, which are often prescribed as acne treatments at hospitals, are also not allowed. There is a high risk of affecting the fetus, so be sure to avoid them. It is prescribed by the hospital, but it would be scary to continue using it without knowing that it was prescribed before pregnancy...

⑦ Aromatherapy treatment (essential oils)
Some essential oils (rosemary, jasmine, etc.) have the effect of promoting uterine contractions, and may increase the risk of miscarriage in early pregnancy.

It seems that there is no problem with using it for aromatherapy, but please avoid overuse and in the early stages of pregnancy.
