U-NEXT Holdings, which provides video streaming services, announced that it will acquire Xing, the company behind the JOYSOUND brand of commercial karaoke equipment. Xing is currently a subsidiary of Brother Industries, Ltd., but U-NEXT will acquire 70% of all shares in April 2026 for approximately 17.7 billion yen. Regarding this acquisition, U-NEXT cited the strong compatibility with the group's existing businesses, creating significant synergies and leading to sustainable growth.
